    Default New in Shippensburg

I just moved to Shippensburg from Texas. Any good ranges in the area? I'd like to get into practical shooting/3gun, if there's any around. Other than that, anyone want to get a beer?

Welcome to ship.....you will love it here. There is a range in chambersburg called shooters delight. Good hours and reasonable rates.

If you are up for outdoor ranges, St. Thomas Sportsmens Association has rifle at 50, 100, 200, 300, & 400 yds. as well as 22 metallic silhouette, in summer. An active black-powder group, as well as archery all year around. And more.

PM me if interested; at least go with me once to shoot there - you'll find it hard to resist.

It was there, and open, three weeks ago. Strange collection of stuff, it was.

First off... Welcome to Pennsyltucky! If you're from "The Republic", I like ya already!

My little brother lives in Ship... We get together almost every week to shoot (practical, combat/defensive-oriented) with several other enthusiasts at our friend's PRIVATE range (no fee, just have to "know" somebody that goes... NO mag limit, double taps and Mozambiques ENCOURAGED!). I'd be happy to give him your contact info if you like... Maybe y'all will end up at Wibbs, hehe. He lives right by Weekend Warrior actually.

Speaking of which- Denise (the proprietor) is one of the nicest, most helpful people in the MilSurp industry. If you can't find it in her shop, she'll find it and order it for you. She also sells select ammo and magazines when she has them. If you become a "regular", and get to know her, she can REALLY help find some hard to get stuff. I'm biased for sure, that's the ONLY surplus store in the area I'll shop at for the past couple years.

Wow! Yeah, I'm wanting to get into practical shooting, specifically some 3-gun. PM me some info about it.

been a while since i have been on this board. I am in ship and am a fan of shooting in general. I am fortunate enough to be able to walk out the back door and shoot. As for the beer, I am a fan as well. If you would like to get together, I am at the ship wreck often. Always willing to have a brew and shoot the ---T. Hope to see you soon.
