Same with Carolina Shooters Supply. I found a promo code AFTER I placed my order today, emailed Greg Queen who represents them, and he refunded me the difference. Great company to deal with.
Yeah, I've checked out CSS, and they seemed like a good company. I also saw complete conversion kits from Mississippi Auto Arms as well, and they seemed like a good company as well.

When the time comes, I think I might want this trigger guard/grip adapter:

I also like the extended safety tab. Look like it would work well for a lefty

JD, have you looked over the process? What do you think?

The conversion part looks ok as long as you bring all of the replacement parts. I just glanced at the tune up and polishing ... That looks like it could take quite a while.

ETA: I'll know more once I see it apart. The whole new trigger whole thing could take a while. In fact, it might be worth setting up a mill program. See: http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/Step_4.htm

I'm hoping the tune-up and polishing area won't be necessary. It seems as though the main thing is breaking in the shotgun. So far, it runs good, except for the occassional FTE with light loads, which it isn't even meant to run. With the adjustable gas plug I purchased, and the available light load kit which I did not get, I'm hoping these options will alleviate any issues it may have.

The Tromix trigger guard, I THINK, alleviates the need to cut a trigger hole, if one is not already in place. Isn't that what the angled screw shown is for? The guard also bolts to the old rivet holes:

The whole G2 trigger assembly is modified by Tromix, and is supposed to be drop-in and a snap to do.

The Chaos rails are on a two week backorder. I'll be getting them sometime in December. The stuff from CSS should be here tomorrow, or early next week.

I may be wrong, but I think the angled screw is just for the grip, similar to an AR.

My understanding was the the tromix guard prevented the need for drilling/milling any new holes, as it either uses or covers the holes already present when removing the current guard. I could be wrong though.

As for the other guards, I'm not sure.

I believe with the "sporterized" Saiga, the trigger actually protrudes out of the pistol grip mounting hole. When you remove the FCG and move it forward, the hole is there to install a grip.
