Engraving Ideas.

I need some ideas, I'm planning on engraving my Remington 1917 .30-06's stock soon, but I have no idea what I should engrave on it.
I really like the idea of a custom gun, and having it engraved would make it much more unique.

My girlfriend jokingly (I think) told me to engrave the Starfleet emblem onto the stock, she's a major Star Trek nerd, I think it's pretty cute, she's 5'5 and 120 pounds, loves her Star Trek, but a Starfleet emblem isn't well suited for hunting.
I plan on putting a small Starfleet emblem on the gun near the forend, or maybe right behind the receiver where my thumb will rest, as a small tribute to her, but I want something much more serious for the stock.
It's an amazing rifle, she gave it to me for my birthday back in October and I love it a lot and it's a blast to shoot.
It came with a 3-9x40 Weaver scope, which is also pretty high quality.

I'd just like something nice to make it more of a conversation piece, a beautiful hunting tool and a little bit nicer to show off to my friends at the range, hard work and creativity usually always pay off in that way.

Buy anyway, if anyone has any ideas, I'm very open and would love to hear them, I really want something nice, it doesn't have to be intricate or fancy, just something that looks good.

Since the Remmy 1917 originated around-abouts World War I - a WWI & John "Black Jack" Pershing theme would go very nicely. Tribute to our 2nd highest officer would be an awesome theme.
