    Default mobile forum

There are a couple of iphone apps that will allow use of this forum in a small-screen friendly format. Iv done some research and it seems like the forum owner just needs to install a program to make this work. I have forum runner on my iphone but there are some others. they all support the vbulletin such as this forum. thanks for reading!

    Hello Rim,

This has been discussed a few times in the past however it is unfortunately not on our immediate feature roadmap.

It's something I would like to implement some day when I have researched it more and have the time necessary to do so.

Yes but programs like Tapatalk make it MUCH easier to browse. Nothing to resize or extra crap taking forever to load.

I use my Android phone to browse the forum, respond to PM's, make posts etc. all the time and have no problems. It works just like it does on the computer. It even displays the banner ads.

On the other hand, I've also visited forums that use Tapatalk and have found it to me more challenging--probably because I'm not used to it.

Mobile browsers are improving constantly. Before too long they will be equal to PC browsers in every way. Any changes or upgrades made to the site will end up being unnecessary.

I just saw a post in my admin dashboard that vBulletin now has an iPhone app.

I will research later what that means!

As you said, this might be on the bottom of your to do list, but I do hope you will look into it. They make it sound like it wouldn't be much work on your end.

I was looking for a app for my Ipad that would work with this forum. I of course could just use a browser, but that would be slower, more cumbersome, and less attractive. The same argument could be made about using a browser for facebook, but the facebook app is one of the most popular. I stumbled upon the same app the OP mentioned. It appears to be the most common for forums, and supports vBulletin. Here's some information on the app.
