Default Whats the best 40 cal round?

Whats the best 40 cal round? Just your perference no need to get too technical, just an opinion based on your finding.

I like the 135 jhp 1300+ fps and 500+ fpe expanding to .57 nearly 357 ballistics with a bigger hole.

I also like the dbl tap 155 JHP because they are doing 1200+fps and 560 fpe exp .75.

Unless plinking I'm not a big fan of 890 fps 180 JHP or TRNs.

The 200 grain stuff I haveen't seen much of but 1080 fps and 490fpe not bad .79 expansion.

I also like the PowerBall Stuff.

Whats your best 40 s&w round?

Not sure how it really compares, but I'm carrying 180 gr. Federal Law Enforcement Tactical HSTs at the moment.

    10mm 180 jhp.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

One that feeds reliably each and every time. For me personally, I carry either the CorBon 135 gr. +p or the new Hornady Critical Defense in 165 gr.

hopefully there never comes a time when one of us has to find out how good are ammo performs on a bad guy. but i always think no matter what load you carry in any grain size if you put your shots where they need to be you are going to ruin his day.

I've used the Buffalo Bore Deer Grenade for hunting in a S&W 629DX as well as the 45-70 Magnum ammo in a Marlin Guide gun, so I'm thinking of ordering two boxes of their .40 +P with these advertised specs:
    Heavy .40 Smith & Wesson +P Ammo - 155 gr. Jacketed Hollow Point(1,300 fps/M.E. 582 ft. lbs.)

Here is the specs on the 45-70 if anyone is interested:
    45-70 Magnum - Lever Gun Ammo - 405 gr. J.F.N.(2,000fps/M.E.3,597 ft.lbs.)
