Sig P220 or XDM .45?

Decisions, decisions... Do I sell my Sig P220 and go for the XDM .45?

I have the XDM 9mm and it is lovely to shoot. The Sig is also a dream to shoot, but the capacity just can't compare with that of the XDM .45.

Need advice!

Seriously, get a grip on reality. You already have one of the finest self-defense handguns made. Sparky66 said it right. 8+1 should be enough. Besides, that's why you carry a spare mag or two.

For real. Don't get me wrong. I have an XD I love, and am thinking about another... But a P220 is a different ballgame altogether.

I actually love my Sig P220. I have the SAO model, also with the .22 conversion kit. It's a tank--and reliable as hell. After two years and a couple of thousand rounds at the range it's never misfired, not once.

Call it temporary insanity. I think I was just in the mood for something new and different. You guys called it. Also, if I want a couple of more rounds I can go for 10+1 mags with the grip extenders.
