    By Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
    Sunday, November 7, 2010

Pennsylvania State Police in Butler are accepting applications for the 2010 Citizens Police Academy, which provides citizens with information on how the troop operates.

Classes will meet on four Monday nights, starting Nov. 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sessions will explore the history and structure of the state police, collision investigation, use of K-9, vehicle fraud investigations, criminal investigations, forensics and computer crime investigations.

The academy is open to residents of Butler, Armstrong, Beaver, Lawrence and Mercer counties who do not have a criminal record and who have not participated in a previous session.

People can register for the class by contacting Trooper Roth at 724-598-2217 or mroth@state.pa.us, and submitting a registration form, a criminal information release form and a general release and waiver of liability form. Applications must be submitted by Nov. 21.

Cool idea. I don't know why but I'm really interested in Criminal justice right now and would love Swiftwater to offer the same thing but, I would also like to do the shooting stuff too

How much can you actually learn?

1: Find a nice parking spot on top of an exit ramp.
2: Open up a dozen fresh made donuts.
    3: Take a nap.
4: wake up and eat another donut.
5: after this routine has been repeated 5 times find the first guy doing 10 miles over the speed limit so you can write your one ticket for the day and go home and take a dump.

It took you 4 days of classes to learn this routine???
