    It really is a beautiful little piece. I love how the metalwork is round ending in square edges. Not a fan of the 949 western look

    Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago in my LGS. it is just called a "sportsman" which i understand was the precursor to the 999. In is in really good shape and i am really happy i have it as i used to trap with my uncles 999 back in the day. One day hopefully i will have that one too. Enjoy the pics and any other info anyone has would be great!

    Very nice - congrats. 1943 I believe. Old style grips and gun in general appears to be in great shape. Enjoy!
