Attention everyone:

Ceasefire PA is in bed with the York City government and public resources are being used to promote Ceasefire PA.

There is a membership drive tonight. A charter school is being used as a phone bank to call city residents. The point of contact on the membership drive is a city official, using a York city email address.

Way to go. The typical York resident would gloss over this... "oh... they are trying to reduce gun violence... good, and the city is letting them use our resources... nice". But CeasefirePA is about way more than that!

Nice letter. Good strategy. If you had just sent in a complaint, they could have just filed it in a trash can. Since you sent in a request for information... now you are putting them in a position where they have to work, expend more resources, and someone has to sign their name to a response. There is a good chance that the bureaucrat responsible for this are going to go look for a rock to hide under and cut their ties to this anti-gun organization.

I have a lot more evidence and information about the York City / Ceasefire relationship. More than what was just posted.

The reason I had to take action now is due to the time sensitive nature of the phone bank membership drive. (tonight)

I handed copies of my letter to the solicitor's office and to the mayor's office directly.

Their response will be honest and match up with my evidence. Or it will show they are lying. I cannot explain more about that. But trust me. They will come clean or I will do it for them.

I am disgusted that my city is closing fire stations and raising taxes while crime reaches levels never before seen... and all the while allowing a political group like Ceasefire PA to use city resources to advance itself.

I need to give thanks to FOAC for support. They clearly are concerned about my concerns. Without their assistance I would not have brought this additional heat on to myself.
