    Default charter arms

I have been thinking about getting a .22 because shooting my Glock gets a bit pricy. I want to be able to spend more time at the range so I figure a .22 would allow me to have some fun while not totally draining my pockets.

I was at the range today and a very nice gentlemen allowed me to shoot his SW - 617. It was a joy to shoot it. Very nice gun but also very far from the WAR number price wise (Wife Approval Rating) :-)

I know you get what you pay for and the whole point of a .22 is to be able to shoot accurately so I and wondering how good those charter arms pathfinders are. Anyone here owns one?

I know I can also get a Mark 2 for the same price range but I want a revolver.

Look for a Heritage, http://www.heritagemfg.com. Not as good as a S&W or a Ruger, but they don't cost as much. And they have a target model revolver that you might want to look at.

My wife came home last night with a Walther P22, she's in the process of learning how to shoot and wanted to surprise me.

Well it's a cool little gun about the size of my XD SC and I wanted to fire a few rounds with it today before giving it back to her.

I put 50 rounds thru it and NO problems and pretty damn accurate as well.

    I put 7 of 10 on paper from 25yds.

Better yet 20 0f 20 at 7yds. No FTF/FTE no recoil and just a great plinker.

    Cost her 300.00

    Hope that helps.

I read a review on this Austrian-made .22 & It got a very good review. Since you shoot a Glock, it may be of interest to you.....
