springfield XDm, s&w m&p9, or g17/19?

Looking for a handgun in 9mm, not quite sure yet if I'm gonna get a CCW or not, which is why I'm not sure on the g17 or 19. What's your opinion on each of these? I know they're fairly similar, and differences of opinion are probably a matter of taste.

I'm near Altoona, also, so where would I wanna check for purchasing?

The Glock 17 is 1/2" longer and 1/2" taller than the Glock 19 But it makes a big difference the way they feel, both excellent Pistols that will last you a very long time wether you want to cc it or range it.

I find the M&p and XD both hideous, you will never catch me with one of those, they are good pistols though, just not my taste.

You may want to look into the S&W M&P 9 Pro Series. I was going to buy a glock, but have done my reading on both, the Pro Series has my vote. Doesn't mean I'm never going to buy a glock, it just got bumped down on the list.

G19 or M&P hands down. After you shoot wither of these the XD slide seems like it's a mile tall. IMO both need trigger work right out of the box but the tiggers aren't terrible either.

The 19 is holestly the perfect size. Small enough to conceal, yeat more than enough gun for the range, gun games, ect while offering a full grip on the frame. With the M&P it's c compromise between a bit to small and a bit too big but a great gun as well.

I agree the G19 is the perfect size....I carry a XD SC but will most likely get the G19 for HD.

Between them all you won't go wrong.
