Springfield XD(m) .45: A Short Review
After discovering a new local indoor shooting range, to my surprise they had a Springfield XD(m) .45ACP that you could rent. It took all of 30 seconds to get my wallet out. My prior experience regarding the XD series at all was just drooling on counters and a few holdings. My first worry about the .45 XD was how the weight of 13 rounds of .45ACP left the gun balanced. It was balanced to fit me. It shot well also. 49/50 rounds inside 7 ring on a B-27E from Law Enforcement Targets, INC. (Pics to follow later).
IN SHORT
PROS: Balanced, Accurate, Smooth Trigger
CONS: Trigger pull took some time to get used to (fuzz to long for me), Sights were too open for my tastes also.
Good gun if it fits your hand.If only ammo was cheap. Wait. I reload. Darn .22 lr.
