Who just got stopped ???

So , Im sitting at work listening to county dispatch and someone is being stopped for a weapon. Which one of you guys is it?? You have a taurus 9mm and a sportsman permit . Its in lancaster county but your from Chester ......... Come on who is it ?? LOL

Back when I worked for a company where I monitored scanners all day, my boss jokingly threatened to lock out the index channels for the various dispatch centers if I didn't stop yelling at the radios when they talked about "registered" firearms and "concealed weapons permits"

i think it was east lampiter, sounded like it was outside the city. i didnt pay attention to the actual deptartment.

Just out of Curiosity? Doesnt police recruits have to go to some kind of a Police Academy to be police officers? And do they tech them about the various laws in Pennsylvania? Including the firearms laws and the laws as to regards the "pistol license" laws etc . In that it is not a Concealed license etc. But a license to carry firearms period?

And dont they teach them about the "firearm registry" etc,

Where i came from all police recruits were required to go to the Police academy for training and to study up on the various laws etc. and for the most part they are pretty much sharp as far as the laws are concerned.
