Anyone have MOJO rear sights
Read somewhere once that someone really liked these sights on their AK. Was wondering if anyone has these and what your thought are on them? I'm not real happy with the standard sights and I'm looking for a decent upgrade.

Re: Anyone have MOJO rear sights
It looks like these just drop in where the leaf sight was. IMHO this doesn't do much. Part of the AK's accuracy issues are due to a short sight radius. I would check these out: http://www.tech-sights.com/ak.htm
I have the tech-site on my SKS and it really helped a lot. They are a quality product and have met or exceeded my expectations so far. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Re: Anyone have MOJO rear sights
i have a krebs peep on my old SAR 1 and it did improve the shoot ability lots. the mojo's are supposed to be pretty good units.
the tech sights are great, and it you don't mind changing the look of the rifle more they are the ticket.

I have a set of Mojo sights on my MN 91/30 and really like them. In fact, I plan on putting a set on my K98 Mauser.

Not the Mojo, but I did put a Williams aperture on my SKS. Quite the improvement. My old eyes simply cannot use a blade and post on a rifle anymore.

Re: Anyone have MOJO rear sights
It says these are sitting loose and that they move around a bit. Makes me a bit leary. How can something that moves around give me a good repeated sight picture?
Would the cover on my AK still come off the same or will that change too? Hmmm
This is a peep sight right? Can't really tell by the pics I saw.
Would you go for the single aperture or the double aperture?

Re: Anyone have MOJO rear sights
I bought a cheapie Williams to try before plunking down the coin on a Mojo or Krebs and it was the best $12 I ever spent as it showed me how bad a peep on an AK could be.
IMO for anything over 50yrds you give up too much with a peep.

Match rifles will have aperture rears and aperture globes on the front as well. Service rifles will use the aperture rears as on the AR, the M1A1, and the M1 Garand.

Interesting. You wouldn't think that a Peep Site wouldn't give you as accurate a sight picture as a regular sight, but would be a "quicker" site you get a sight picture with.
Are the peeps really small peep holes for ranges out to 600 yards? I can't see how this would work. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....
