NOTICE: CHANGE OF BUSINESS HOURS

Upon the recommendation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Auditor General's Office, the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office must deposit gun permit fees at end of each business day, therefore, the business hours that the Firearms Permit Division will be open to the public will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. These business hours will take effect on Monday, November 1, 2010.

Someone advise them banks have night deposit boxes.

That's OK, why would you want to go downtown later than 3:00 pm, traffic sucks!

I know of some SOs/PDs (in different states mind you) that process/issue permits/LTCFs on only specific dates of each week, i.e. Mon & Wed only etc...

At least we still have Mon - Fri available.
