    Default New Gun

So I've been in the market for a polymer gun. I shot probably a dozen or so various ones and ended up with this Gen 4 G23 w/night sights. I absolutely love this gun and I'm amazed as to how the dual spring reduces the recoil. My all metal Beretta 96 has more felt recoil. Put about 500 rounds through it so far and it has been perfect. I like the .40 because it still uses a small pistol primer so I only have to stock one type of primer in bulk for my .40's and .357's. I still have to stock large pistol primers for my 1911 but not near as many. This gun just feels right in my hand and shoots very well for me. I've attached some pics. One of just the gun and one in its serpa.

Sweet, I'm glad you found something thats you like. Don't forget to post the range report!
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

Nice, I thought you could only get G17s and G22s in the Gen4 configuration at this point. Can you get a G19 or G26 in the Gen4 configuration?

    I know the G19 came out in July. Currently it's 17, 19, 22, and 23.

G35 Gen4s are out now, too. Ed's Public Safety has them in stock.

Great choice. Now all you need is a 9mm conversion barrel and a G19 magazine and you will have two guns in one.

Sorry to Hi-jack the thread, but if G35s are available in Gen 4 configuration, are G34s available in Gen 4 trim too? Or can you take a G17 Gen4 frame and transplant the slide, barrel, recoil spring and guide rod from a 34 on it?
