Re: Hand gun registration
unless you had said pistol transfered at a FFL here in pa, you've violated federal law. If you did have it transfered at a FFL then it's already in the non-registry registry that's floating around

Re: Hand gun registration
There is no registration in PA for handguns.
How did you "purchase" and "transfer" it to PA

Re: Hand gun registration
A Federal Firearms License (FFL) is a license that enables an individual or a company to engage in a business pertaining to the manufacture of firearms and ammunition or the interstate and intrastate sale of firearms. Holding an FFL to engage in certain such activities has been a legal requirement within the United States of America since the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

Uhhh-Ohhhh.....
Methinks it might be wise for the OP to delete his posts.
Unless I am mistaken in my understanding of transfers from out of state... For the OP's sake, I hope I am!

Bones

Re: Hand gun registration
Were you a resident of WV at the time of the sale? Are you over 21? If the answer to both of these questions is anything but "YES" then you have more than likely committed a series of felonies, and have admitted as much on a public forum. IANAL, YMMV.

Edited to add: In addition, about five minutes of research on the 'net (about the same effort required to make your initial post, FWIW) would have prevented this.

Re: high point
I'm almost glad I didn't see the original post.. but to answer the current question... I think the original design of Hi-point was a cap gun with thicker steel "in hopes" it wouldn't blow itself apart.
