    I suggest asking for advice in the NFA forum. The regulars there know the requirements, I don't.

    I suspect that federal law won't allow you to do what you're asking about here. But there might be another individual in your jurisdiction who can legally do the CLEO sign-off.

    18 U.S. Code § 921 - Definitions 18
    20) The term “crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year” does not include—
    (A) any Federal or State offenses pertaining to antitrust violations, unfair trade practices, restraints of trade, or other similar offenses relating to the regulation of business practices, or

    (B) any State offense classified by the laws of the State as a misdemeanor and punishable by a term of imprisonment of two years or less

    I did in 2014 and six stamps ago. Of course with the new atf rules there is no signature requirement either so that doesn't matter.

    Not anymore. They refuse to issue non resident permits as of July 2017. I was there 10/02/17 and refused to take the application to renew.
