Best FFL transfer rates in the West Chester area?
Anyplace around here have a great price to transfer a weapon purchased online? I'm looking to buy a S&W 15/22, and I've found a great price online...
Ideally I'd like to do the transfer someplace that doesn't normally stock the weapon, but S&W's are pretty common. I'd like to support he local guys, but when the price difference is approaching nearly 20% the guns price, money becomes a real factor...
Thanks

Gunbroker has a database of FFLees - there are 2 listed in WC, both at $35, (same as French Creek, cheaper than Kings and Targetmaster according to reports) and a couple guys in Delco at $25. No personal experience with any of them...maybe someone who does will chime in.

Kings Shooter Supply in King of Prussia charges $25. Haven't done one there yet, but I called about and asked.

I just called, didn't get a name. And I doubt I'm a VIP, only every bought some reloading supplies from them. I'll give them a holler tomorrow and see which price is right and post back. Still have to transfer an M&P I'm buying from a buddy. If it's $40 I'll do it elsewhere.

I know this thread is a couple weeks old, but thought I would quickly chime in... I am getting a transfer done at Gordons in Eagle for $40.
