Default Smoker’s friendly, not so much

Smokers Friendly on 286 in Plum may be friendly to Smokers but not to Gun owners, I stopped in there today, and they have a new sign in the front window, (No weapons allowed). This is there right and I respect it, just as its my right to spend my money only in businesses that respect my right to self defend.

Disarm, walk in, and politely let them know that you will no longer shop there. You are right, it is private property so they can choose whom they want to shop in their store, but let them know that you will not support them monetarily if they do not support your right to be armed. Also let them know you are letting your 30k friends of PAFOA know as well

I'm not sure I'd disarm and walk in..I'd probably remain armed, walk in and let them know that they could potentially be losing a lot of business because of not allowing weapons into their establishment.

So you would violate their private property rights to make a point? I wonder why some view gunowners as dicks?

I would let them know, just not this way.

Be safe (and don't be a dick).

I generally don't look for no weapon signs before entering an establishment..

at the same time..I currently CC, so people don't know I'm carrying. I'd rather get kicked out of a location then get killed for not having my weapon when it's needed.

Got it and even agree with this post. It is just that your other post came of as being antagonistic as far as entering with the firearm to complain about the "no firearms" sign.

I, and all my friends, would let the business know of my dissatisfaction. As a matter of fact, do you have contact information for said business?

Be safe (and be the squeeky wheel).

I don't think going in and letting them know that their sign will cause you to go down the road to another restaurant is necessarily antagonistic..as for the contact info- no, I'm probably 4 hours from where the OP lives.

Death by nicotine and tobacco combustion derivatives is sensible to Smokers Friendly, but (the fear of) death by guns is not?

With the inability to think critically, I can't believe so many businesses have survived and people have not died.
