The bushings are made by a variety of manufacturers (Wilson, Ed Brown, etc.) and are not specific to the maker of the 1911. You mainly want to pay attention to the barrel type (match, bull), length (government, officer's) and finish (blue, stainless). You're basically looking for a drop-in 1911 bushing. This would be an example of one that should work for you:

Most parts on a 1911 need fitted, a bushing is no exception. Most bushings are oversized and be fitted to the slide.

I'd check Brownell's You can probably find one that won't require a lot of work there. They have a much bigger selection than Midway. You might as well order a "FREE" 1911 catalog as well while your there....

Remember it's the Barrel to Bushng fit rather than the Bushng to Slide fit your looking at.

All my 1911s are Colt Government 70s and I've never had an issue because parts are easy to find. I always assumed you could find a bushing close enough to OEM to not require much more than polishing maybe. Probably should have kept my trap shut about a Taurus.

Anyway, I do have a question:
Most bushings are oversized and be fitted to the slide.
I thought oversized bushings were atypical... something you ordered if you had an older gun with a worn barrel. Do most of you guys order oversized and ream/hone it yourselves?
