Default ATI 1911 GI or Military

Anyone buy one yet and fired it? Looking for some range reports or comparisons to other 1911's

havent seen the ATI around at any local shops, but have seen the Citadel and Rock Island models, and the American Classic. i went with the Rock Island just due to the feedback on other websites, but the Citadel is made on the same equipment at the same plant.

The ATI guns from what i can gather are made in Turkey and imported by ATI.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

The ATI 1911s are the FX line and they are made in the Phillipines. We had a 3" model which is the Titan and it appeared to be built very well. The customer brought it back because it was shooting consistently low. We sent it back and the replaced the entire slide. Still waiting to see how it works but build quality seems good and customer service was good as well. You can't really beat the price either. I think the 5" models are around $400.
