Never seen one before so out of curiosity I looked around the auction sites. Seems like these little carbines fetch a decent price tag $500-600 depending on mags and options.

Had to take it off because some nosy ass prick at the firing range keeps giving me shit about it because foregrips make this an "Assault Rifle" according to Cuomo's idiotic SAFE Act.

I bought mine used from gunamerica.com from a dealer in Indiana called Big Daddy Guns N More for about $380. Note that Ruger discontinued these carbines back in 2006 but you can still find magazine being sold for them on places like eBay and Amazon.

I am sure you can find a PC9 being sold on there if you look hard enough.

    here's one I found listed on gunbroker.com:

Sadly, because these carbines are a small handful of "legal" rifles to own in NY given the asinine SAFE Act, the sellers are marking up the prices as a result. If I had a choice, I'd buy an AR-15 or a Beretta CX4 Storm, but NY State says I can't have them due to their scary and evil "military" like features.

That "nosy ass prick" probably saved you a big fucking headache had the wrong person seen that, you should give him a big fucking hug and buy him a box of ammo to thank him for taking you to school on NY gun laws.

Do you always use such "colorful" language when addressing others or is this something specific when addressing me?

I found that a bit brash myself. I'm not sure what that was all about. Don't take it personal though.
