    Question Sell or stand pat?

Thinking of selling my M&P40c & Ruger MK III. Have been carrying my XD9SC lately & the MK never gets used.

If I did sell them, I would replace them with a RIA 1911, Springfield 1911 (If I found a killer deal), Glock 19, 26 or 27.

I used to have a couple G19s & a RIA 1911. Silly me for selling them apparently.

Think I should stand pat & just add the others as I can or sell & replace? Feel free to suggest something else, but I am only interested in semi-autos. No DA like the CZ-75. Had 1 of those too & didn't like it.

I was gonna sell my MKIII. I hadn't shot it for a few months, then I took it to the range. I'll probably never sell that thing. I like it too much. As for the M&P, if you don't like it, or don't shoot it, get rid of it and get what you really want. But think it through.

What model MKIII do you have? I could be in the market for another one.

I say get rid of the M&P if you don't like/use it and get what you want. Unless you really dont like the MK, I say keep it. .22s are fun to shoot.

As for the 1911, go springfield if you can. Or get the RIA Tactical.

Just your standard blued 5" barrel fixed sights model.

I want to keep them both so I probably will & just add the others as money allows. Sold the previous ones b/c I was laid off @ the time.

you might be able to squeeze out enough from the M&P to pay for a new Rock.

If you NEED the money, sell. If not, well, one day you will say "why did I get rid of that". You are already are doing that with the G19 and 1911.

That said, I have a number of safe queens, but they at least serve as back ups for my "main" guns. Odd thing is, today I grabbed my old Sterling 302 for the pocket, as opposed to one of my p3at's or my 442 that I normally would, not sure why, but did. The Sterling was my old bug from years ago.

You can apply this feeling to the M&P and the Ruger if you sell them. Both are great guns. Never a fan of selling, just more buying......

I have never sold a Gun.
My wife thinks i own 5 guns, i know one day she'll ask "if you have 5 guns why is it that you have 2 gun safes?"

Keep the Ruger, everyone needs a .22.

I used to keep every gun I picked up, never sold them, just added more. After a while it just seemed like a waste to keep guns around that I never shot just to say that I had 40 or so guns lying around.

I sold most of them off and bought a few higher dollar guns, a couple for pure investment value, a couple other that I always wanted but could never afford otherwise.

I only regret selling maybe two of them but they were common enough that if I wanted, I could easily replace them later.

I'd sell the safe queens and get something you will actually get out and enjoy.
    Good luck.

I'd dump the M&P and use it toward getting the Springfield 1911

    I'd keep the MK III
