Re: Good idea to switch to all one style?
I love my 1911's and looking at gettting a third but i would never give up my Sigsp2009. It is built like a tank, holds 15 in the mag and is a lot cheaper to shoot than 45acp. Plus I am not convinced that unless they break down the groups in three gun or tactail shoots you can compete against a gun that has twice the magazine capacity.
p.s. would love to pick up those 10rd magsTantric Shooting Team

Re: Good idea to switch to all one style?
Honestly, its up to you. I personally keep to the same caliber gun so I save on buying ammo/reloading. It makes it easier also, plus all the holsters will fit. Interchangeable parts is always a +!

Switching to one caliber or style seems like it could be a good idea, but I always see something new or different and I feel compelled to get it.

Re: Good idea to switch to all one style?
We own several styles and enjoy all of them but my go to guns are all 1911 platform or Browning H.P. Too many years carrying and shooting them to retrain.
I never have been able to understand my need for multiples but just gave in some years ago.Courage is being scared to death--but saddling up any way. John Wayne
