Looking for a gym...
Looking for a gym close to 196 or 940. I prefer a dungeon gym. Something simple and cheap where I can drop dumbbells without some pre-modona behind the counter telling me to stop making so much noise. Anything like this in the area? Thanks.

Re: Looking for a gym...
Welllllll...I go to Elevations down on 611 in Scotrun. If you'd like I could bring you in as a guest and you could try it out for a day for free.
There is no one telling you what to do or not to do. You work out however you like. There's a pool if you want to swim. You get 3 free training sessions when you join, if you want them. (I get a gift too ) There's classes galore if that interests you. It's not cheap though. Something like $75 to join and $50 something a month, but I think it's well worth the money. Nice clean place, nice people, lots of equipment to use and a full out he-man section,
I know a lot of bodybuilders use this place. Both the owners used to be bodybuilders and some of the staff too. Heck even Paul Sr. comes in every once and a while and they have boxers that train there as well.
Like I said nice place.

Tootie, if I could ask, how much do they charge for personal training down there?

Re: Looking for a gym...
They have a few, but that also depends on what you consider cute. Give me a rundown and I'll list who fits what you're looking for.
I'm going today so I'll get you the actual prices this afternoon.
I think I need to punch/beat the shit out of something today. Bad weekend

Re: Looking for a gym...
so here's the prices
10 sessions = $475. PIF
40 sessions = $1700. PIF
Buddy training 10 sessions $550. for the month of Oct. ($275. per person)
If you join it's $99. enrollment (waived if you buy training session) and $56 a month with a 12 month contract.
There are other options but I figured this would be a good start. They do have family and deals with some companies for discounts.
I also have a card for a free workout if you want. We could meet up somewhere and I can give it to you.
