Default Why Philly cops don't want armed citizens.

Makes doing shakedowns hard. I don't advocate drug dealers or felons with guns , but this is the perfect response to those who say that only cops should have guns.

What pharmacy did this occur at?...oh, you mean illegal drug dealers. Not the white coat pill pushers with permits to dispense government approved drugs...gotcha.

Loved the Chiefs answer to the problem "Make requirements more strict...college education and improved driving skills?" Really Mr. Police Chief? College so the criminal officers are less likely to get caught and more experience as licensed drivers? Well, they can walk can't they? They can ride a bike right? How about a horse? Jesus man, you got uniformed officers commiting Armed Robberies and you're worried about education levels and driving exprience? I believe you're priorities are a bit fucked up Chief.

i think what he meant by this is that if they go to college then possibly they could get a job in Washington that way they can make money robbing tax payers instead of dealing drugs. and by improving driving skills they won't kill any one like ted kennedy.

That story is a perfect example of my reason to never allow a police officer to disarm me for their "safety". Impossible to tell the bad cops from the good anymore.

Between this and the robberies of immigrant owned convenience stores, it seems that the Philly PD is bent on snatching the "most corrupt PD" title from the Chicago PD.

Hopefully you'll never need to find out. If you ever do follow through on this, I'm predicting it will not end well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if a person or organization or entity is anti gun, there isn't anything good about them. At very best they're ignorant and negligent to where they'll unintentionally cause harm by that means or another, at very worst deliberately trying to inflict the same or worse. An anti gun person or entity is almost always without exception either wants to control your life to some extent or another or has something worse in mind later whether deliberate or otherwise.
