Hardware for hanging guns?

Where do you guys get the hardware for say hanging a gun on the walll as decoration, You know those wood or brass ornamental hangers?

I went to home Depot but they only have the cheaap metal one that you would use in your garage to hang tools.

I make my own (it helps to have a blacksmith shop on the property).
If you don't have a forge and an anvil, you can often find gun hooks in (are you ready for this?) ...gun shops. I'd try Cabela's, or order a pair from Sportsman's Guide or Midway.

What I've done in the past is to take a long screw (4-5") and put black rubber hose (automotive Vacuum hose) over the exposed threads, paint the head of the screw black, screw into the wall studs, and hang the rifle. Just make sure you position the screws so the rifle hangs level (which means one screw will most likely be higher than the other). I like to have the one screw just behind the trigger guard and the other under the fore end. You may want to angle the screws a little upward to help keep the rifle from rolling off the screw.
