H&R Pistols
HI hope ya can help;
I have a 9 shot H&R model 922 w/ plastic grips ppull pin Serial # K18788 and just wondering when it was made?

If I'm not mistaken yours with the K prefix makes it a 1950.
I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.[

SauerGrapes is not mistaken. It is a 1st Model 7th Variation (1949-1952). If you check your cylinder, you will see that it is equipped with an extraction system. Pushing in on the "extractor" with the end of the cylinder pin will push all cartridges out at one time. This "extractor" can be removed by turning it about 1/4 turn and then pulling it out of the cylinder bushing - there are lugs on the insert that fit into grooves in the bushing.
