Default Show Us Your Every Day Carry Gear

Let's see it. What do you shove in your pockets, mount on your belt, slip into your waistband? Guns, knives, lights, ammo, etc. I believe there was thread on this a while back, but I couldn't find it, and I'm sure it could use an updating. Feel free to give a detailed description, or just post a pic.

Here's my set up on a day I'm not working.

And sometimes, non-essential items get tossed into the man purse. 5.11 Bail Out Bag. (And yes, that's gunshot damage... http://forum.pafoa.org/gun-pictures-...range-bag.html)

Sooo, XD9 in a Galco Hi Ride Silhouette or RCS Phantom, depending on the day (or the Safariland holster if I'm bringing the OC)
    S&W 637 in a DeSantis Nemesis.
Extra mag in a Blackhawk double stack mag holder (sometimes)
Speedloader (If 637 is the only gun I'm carrying)
CRKT Crawford Falcon and shitty, shitty plastic sheath. Should really get some Kydex made for that.
    Boker SubCom.
Surefire Elite Executive E2a. Has been my favorite for a long, long time.
And a bunch other of other crap. Only other item of note would be the Buck Knives Whitaker on my keys, which functions as a very sharp knife, AND, a bottle opener. (Almost as important as extra ammo!)

Well, I showed you mine. Your turn.

Whats with the oddball round in your speedloader? Reasoning to have one different? Do you think you could actually index that how you want durring the super stress of having to reload a BUG?

Looks like a snake shot round?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

That is correct. Usually I'll just carry 5 hollow points but I have a .38 shotshell in my man purse. Why? You never know when you might need one. I figure better to have the option and not need it.

They work well for rodents, as well as scaring the shit out of larger aggressive animals. They would also probably work well on snakes but it is illegal to kill a snake (any snake) with a firearm in PA.

I am still wondering how you plan to get that round not only into your BUG but also indexed properly while under stress and while whatever you plan on shooting with it is heading your way.

I think he carries the shot shell for an emergency not a shtf moment. Don't get wrapped up in odd stufff people carry. Everyone has there demons/fears and prepares for them in diffrent ways.

p.s. will post pics of my EDCG when i get home....

Right. I don't carry the shotshell if I'm carrying the 637 as a main gun. I carry a speedloader or speed strip loaded with only hollow points. The shot shell just happened to be on that loader (great way to store loose ammo...) and I snapped a pic.
