Default New Trijicon night sights for Glock 27.....

I bought a set of Trijicon night sights for my Glock 27 and I think I have managed a way to install the rear sight safely, but the front sight is the one I'm wondering about. I am wondering what else I could use to install the front sight without purchasing the Glock front sight tool for almost $35. I'm not sure if I could rent one from someone on here, or if someone has figured out something else to use. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. I take pride in installing things myself, so taking it to a 'smith isn't really something I want to do. Thanks

I would think most 3/16" nut drivers should work. (Unless this is a "stake-on" type sight.)

So nothing a little loctite and a 3/16" driver cant fix for the front sight. How about the rear sight, any tricks to this I should know about. I have never replaced pistol sights before....

This seems like a good overview:

Be gentle with Tritium sights as it is easy to shatter the capsules.

There is no trick to installing them except don't pound on them with a hammer. The front sight will not work with a 3/16 nut driver cause the nut driver is too thick and will not allow you to get on the little bolt. Just remember GOOGLE is your friend. Use loctite and DO NOT overtighten it you will strip it and be buying a new one.

I personally don't have one cause I don't own any Glocks or I would do it for you. But for the $7 it's worth it even if you only use it once.

I installed my glock front sight with locktite and needlenose pliers. It turned out fine.
