Default Crow is messing with me

I've had flocks (?) of crows come on my property over the past few years. They eat bugs like crazy and are completely silent. If they see me, they leave immediately. Therefore, I think somebody has been shooting at them. I love it when they come and like to watch them surreptitiously so I don't scare them.

There is a new crow now. It likes to fly around my property early in the morning and caw like crazy while I am still trying to sleep.

I don't have a hunting license. Is there anything I can do about this?

Please Note: The poster was issued a warning for this post.

BB gun... If it lands plink it... If it just floats around, time to step it up... I have a pump bb rifle... I load one BB, then drop 3 or 4 more BB's down the top of the barrel... Makes it a shot gun... They dont go as far but ya might wing it...

I know some of you old birds on here frown about this, bla bla bla... Do what ya need to do...

I doubt the crow would mess with you unless you did something to him first....

First, for educational purposes since you put a (?), it's called a murder of crows. Second, It's perfectly legal to scare them away. Try something loud.

Another thing is this....I have been noticing/hearing a lot more owls lately. If it's early in the A.M. he may be crowing at an owl. Crows will attack owls if they see them. They attack all birds of prey but really dislike owls. Great horned to be most specific.

We frown on it because It is unlawful to hunt with an air rifle in Pa.

Do not suggest people break the law.

I don't know how to ID a youngster but I saw him today and he was as big as any I've seen.

No can do (legally). The taking of crows is regulated by the game commission, and using an air rifle to hunt is expressly forbidden by law.

OP, get a hunting license and you can legally end the annoyance with a shotgun. You can even hunt crows seven days a week on Sundays (Fridays and Saturdays too) while they're in season.

Why would he want to get married?

I heard before somewhere that you could shoot them on any day but sunday, or only on sunday. Something like that. I'm sure someone can chime in with more info.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.

What do I need to do to kill the SOB?

And, if I'm not allowed to kill it, how can I make it go away?

Although, in my experience, "making it go away" usually doesn't work with nuisance animals. Unless it means "away" away. But I'm open to suggestions.
