    Default Post dates

KInda curious as to why posts are not dated...beyond "1 week ago" etc.

Was looking in a thread to get an idea of how many days passed between 2 posts...1 said "two weeks ago" and the 2nd said "one week ago"...but I know it wasn't a full week between the two.

+1. I'd like to see a date / time format as well.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

If you select "Thread Tools --> Show Printable Version", you can see the dates. But I agree, it is annoying. It would be nice if you could hover over the "2 weeks ago" and get the actual date and time.

Thanks for that....it helped. As I thought...there was only 2 days between the two posts.

It looks like MDShooters.com uses the same software...and their posts are date/time stamped. So maybe and option for Dan to set on his end?

It was that way for awhile, but then he decided to change back to this format. I don't remember the reason. There is a thread about it somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

Unfortunately the only way to change this is globally for everyone, and after trying out we found it to be overall easier to see general dates/times for posts (with the opportunity to mouse over for detailed information.)

Part of this is honestly because I prefer it though

Interesting... if this is turned on, it doesn't work for me in Google Chrome.

I'm noticing the same behavior, I swore it used to work. I just looked through the vBulletin options and didn't see anything.
