    Default Block Shoots @ RRGC

The Roseto Rod & Gun Club has block shoots, including a meat wheel, the 3rd Sunday of every month. They get a good crowd. Doors are open to the public. Shoots start at 10AM. Get there early.

If it wasn't so far to travel I'd go. I love going to block shoots.
I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six!

You bring your shotgun or use one that's there and shoot at a piece of cardboard with an X on it. The person closest to the middle of the X wins the meat or a crossbow or whatever is being offered for that shoot.

If you don't want to shoot, or if you're shooting your friends that aren't shooting buy tickets for the meat wheel and drink. Lot's of times there's 2 chances for $1-2 dollars (usually $1) for (an example) 1 ticket is for a slab of bacon and the other is for a pork roast. You can buy the meat wheel tickets as well if you are shooting the block shoot.

It's a fun time for all and the people are friendly.

If you bring your wife and she doesn't shoot she can play the meat wheel. Bring a cooler to keep the meat cold for the ride home
