A PA LTCF is valid until it expires (according to the state statutes), regardless of your current address.

Almost sounds like Phili to me:

    2. Overt and unnecessary display of your firearm in public places can cause alarm to the public and may result in revocation of your permit.

    5. Do not carry your firearm when consuming alcoholic beverages or taking prescription medications that may affect your abilities and/or judgment.

    9. If you are carrying a firearm and come into contact with a Law Enforcement Officer, follow all instructions you are given. Do not make any sudden moves, keep your hands visible, and notify the officer immediately that you have a firearms license and a firearm on your person.
    This crap needs to stop!

    Edited to add:
I'm sure they want new LTCF holders to believe (my translation)

    2. OC is not allowed and you will lose your permit
    5. It is against the law to drink or take scripts while carrying (not saying I do not agree with this; however, it is not the law.)
    9. You must notify

Fraggle09027 is not a lawyer. Any advice is just advice (my own 2 cents) and is not expressed or implied as legal advice.

I don't remember reading through that sheet a few months ago when I was back home applying in York. The last point is especially bogus....I understand why they put these things spelled out like this, but I wish they would designate them as recommendations, not written down like law.

"There's no requirement in the state statutes for that...only that non-state residents have a permit/license to carry from their home state, if it does issue them."- HiredGoon

    Exactly my point, = SHADY

It looks like the Sheriff has his own set of "laws".
We will be visiting PA this week. We will stay out of York county.
We will spend a couple of hundred dollars in our visit. The Sheriff is making sure that no one in York county profits from the trip.
