    Default redfield revolution scopes

    Hey all,

I just placed an order for a 4-12x40mm redfield revolution scope with the accurange recticle at the recommendation of a few members here. Does anyone here have one of these rifle scopes (in any power).

BTW, it will be going on my new savage edge .308 rifle in case anyone is curious.

Any complaints or concerns??? I know a few of you have already chimed in on the other thread, but I wanted to see if I could just get some more feedback while I patiently wait for it to arrive.

    Thanks.

I don't own one, but it seems to have received a pretty good review here: http://www.chuckhawks.com/redfield_r...on_4-12x40.htm

I may look into that if I ever need a scope in that price range.

I don't think you'll have any problems it's made by Leupold in America. If you do I'm sure any issue would be resolved immediately. Time to check that tracking number again and wonder why it takes so long to ship stuff.

I got my new scope in the mail today.

Mounted it on a set of two piece steel rings today.

The eye relief on this thing is AMAZING. I love the Accu-Range recticle.

This scope is by FAR the clearest, most rigid scope I have ever touched. I love the way it gathers light outside at dusk. It was like the time changed from 7:15 PM to 5:15 PM whenever I looked through the recticle.

    I'll post pics asap.

Anyone know how to figure out what size of flip open covers I need for this?

I have the same 4x12 with accu range that you just got. I just got mine boresighted on a remington 798 .243.

Now I just have to get to a 200 yard range to zero.
