    Default Ask A Gubernatorial Candidate

If you had the opportunity to ask each of the gubernatorial candidates a serious question about gun/sportsmen's issues, what would you want to know about their policy plans? Instead of joking around or making assumptions that any candidate could get a "dream" agenda passed without any legislative fights, what would be your priority issues that you'd like to see discussed by the campaigns?

Getting HB 40 passed and into law ASAP, or taking the 126 pages of gun laws and putting them in the shredder till theres no gun laws left.

Get rid of the "record of sale" database, make it blatantly illegal for any kind of database/registry to exist, and actually enforce the law and punish the PSP for retaining records?

Edit: And municipalities need to be punished for violating 6120.

If we're getting rid of the character clause, why not get rid of the entire licensing requirement?

If you're eligible to possess a gun, you can carry it concealed or in a vehicle without any license whatsoever. End of story.

Has to do with ease of passage. Removing licensing would be extremely difficult to pass. Removing the character clause would be a lot easier.

I'm slowly working with FOAC and the lawyers and Legislators to get a bill written to eliminate the "Character Clause" and to follow a true "Shall Issue" system which is "if you are able to own a firearm, you can't be denied a LTCF." we are also working to smack down Phillys illegal procedures.

How about using an LTCF in place of PICS, then?
