OC Encounter at Turkey Hill

....Or I should say a lack thereof.

Was there buying a Red Bull after hanging out with my buddy who just came back from Korea on leave. I was OC and was shooting the shit with the cashier when a town cop came in. He looked at me, down at my pistol, and asked me how I was doing. I told him I was doing good and as I was walking out he told me to have a great night.

I love living in a town where the police understand the laws and are comfortable with open carry.

Even Dickson city has been better lately...I encountered two different DC guys the other day; the one on Main St. simply looked over and said "Springfield?" I said 'Yep!, Glock?", "Nope, new Sig. have a good one!" Two tone .45, by the way. I think he works for a few departments, so not sure if all the DCs have them now, but it is a sweet looking pistol.

The other ws writing a report up in Sheetz, , looked over and saw me OC at the counter, smiled a little and nodded his head. No conversation at all.

Things might have been diffrent if you were standing in front of the doughnut case! Shootout maybe?
