Love my Bersa Thunder
Picked up a Bersa Thunder .380 a couple weeks ago and I love it more each time I go to the range! Fairly light, inexpensive, compact, feels good in my hand, and accurate too! I only wish the ammo wasn't so overpriced but that's supply and demand I guess.
I got some reasonably priced S&B FMJs from someplace online and the Thunder doesn't seem to like them. The better stuff, including JHPs, that I got at the range have no problem feeding but out of 25 S&Bs at least 2 will get hung up while feeding.
Also got 2 spare ProMag magazines and they work perfectly. I even managed to cram 8 rounds in a 7 round mag. Not easy to do and I don't recommend it! It didn't want to latch in the gun fortunately. Oh, and a Fobus paddle holster. Ack, it never ends!
Speaking of holsters I have to give Midway kudos. I ordered the Fobus and when it came it wasn't a paddle holster as I thought. While dreading the return process I noticed a return mailing label printed on the bottom of the packing slip. Just stick it in the envelope and slap the label and postage on it. Done. No authorization, no phone calls or emails. Bravo Midway! Unfortunately they didn't have the paddle style holster so I got it elsewhere. But it sure was a pleasure dealing with them!

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
Its a great gun i cc mine sometimes that is how much faith i have in mine. And its a quality Pistol for the price.
My Sig 232 cost nearly 3 times as much and it doesnt shoot any better, Also my Sig 232 doesnt like fmj ammo either while its flawless with any HP ammo. go figure.
.380's seem to have a mind of their own.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
Good job. I carried one of those for a couple years until I moved up in caliber last Fall. They're great guns, and seriously underrated.
I'm glad you're having luck with the Promags, too; I heard a lot of reports about them having FTF issues.
Check out here http://www.bersatalk.com/forum/index.php for a ton of info and a lot of fun.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
I've been eyeing a Thunder for some time. They seem like the perfect carry gun. Small but still having decent stopping power. Now if only I could get clearance from girlfriend.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
I've been carrying my Thunder .380 for about 8- 9 years now.
Ive put abut 700 rounds through it and NEVER had a problem with it.
I have always used Speer FMJ and have used Honady HP's with no problems.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
I'm glad to learn you all like your Bersa Thunders. I just picked one up yesterday, and will take it out this weekend to put a few rounds through it. Only downside, as has been mentioned, is the limited availability of the .380 ammo. I'll just stock up on it whenever I see it in the stores.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
Currently in the process of trading for one of these with a member here. Really excited to get it. Seems that these little guns have less issues than the Walther PPKs they;re based on.

Re: Love my Bersa Thunder
Yes as a carry gun its much less finicky than the Walther and the wider grip soaks up more recoil than the Walther.
THe Walther has its own purposes such as when youre kicking back at a dinner party having an Elize and smoking a Cuban Cohiba while the breeze (guns ) with friends.
I wouldnt carry mine.
My Bersa i'll trust anytime.
