    Unless you plan on just walking down the sidewalk as a group of less than 75 you will need a permit.

    If you're less than 75 just walking down the sidewalk, not impeding anyone or jay walking, no problem.

    However, if there's more than that, or you plan to rally in one location and stand around, permit is required.

    Most common location for rallies/protests, and probably best location for exposure is right in front of city hall. Either in Dilworth Plaza or across the street in front of the Municipal Services building beneath the giant welcoming visage of Frank Rizzo.
