onarano,not really pro gun
http://www.pagunrights.com/2010/06/d...rts-sportsmen/
I didn't see the whole story so I have no idea the entire content of the story ,however what I did hear him talking about was the whole Florida aggricultural gun permit that some PA resident apply for when they're dennied in PA.
Bringing that up AGAIN can only put gun owners and permit carriers in a more negative light.
In my opinion he like any/all politicians talks out both sides of his mouth..Last edited by 1shot; September 21st, 2010 at 11:51 AM.

Oh no Rat o
(yup, looks more and more like a rat the more I see/hear of him)The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

Not really pro gun?
This doesn't make sense. He has always been blatantly ANTI-gun...._________________________________________

Re: onarano,not really pro gun
Onorato is as anti as he can get away with. He is in no way and never was in any way pro-gun.
He has been quoted numerous times saying if elected he will seek to eliminate state pre-emption which allow every town to write their own firearm laws.
He wants to eliminate reciprocity with other states.
He supports lost and stolen ordinances
He wants to institute background checks for the sale of AMMUNITION!!!
He wants to mandate training in order to PURCHASE a firearm, let alone for a LTCF
He wants gun dealers to have to submit a list of all purchases and inventory to law enforcement on a regular basis
He wants to ban gun dealers from residential areas, any place within 1000 feet of a school, park, daycare center, etc. Basically he wants to ban gun dealers since based on the distance requirements, there would be virtually no locations available.
He wants to make it so no one can sell ammunition without a special license.
He wants there to be laws requiring all firearms be locked and inoperable while in the home.
He wants a law banning guns on college campuses
He wants to institute a Clinton-esque "assault weapon ban", including banning magazines with capacity higher than 10 rounds, etc.
The list goes on. It would be tough to find a more anti-gun candidate. Onorato would be disastrous to PA if elected. Some of what he wants is worse than New Jersey laws!

Sounds like Dan should really be running for Mayor of Chicago. The job will soon be available and he'd fit right in there. Might even anoint him their next king!
