Default Transfering LCC from Lancaster to York

Well I really should of done this awhile ago (1.5 years ago) but when I got my LCC I lived in Lancaster and now I permanently live in York. This Friday on my day off I plan to go to the court house and get it transferred to York County. I assume* that is how it works. Does anyone know how this will go? Will they let me hold onto my Lancaster one until my York one comes or no? I am unsure what the process of transferring counties is for LCC. Any incite would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

There is no process. Your LTCF is good no matter what address is written on it.
You don't have to transfer. That is unless you want to waste money.
All that should be done is to notify the Lancaster Sheriff of your new address. That way he can send out your renewal notice.
The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

Ahhh see this I did not know. I thought you needed your current address on it like you do your license. If that is the case I will just call up Lancaster police department and notify them of this change. I renew in 2013 so I have awhile. Thanks for the insite on this

when you actually do renew in York, you won't get the awesome hard card that Lancaster gives out, just a paper card that they laminate for you.

York is set to change to the new system beginning November 2010.

Just a slight clarification...you don't want Lancaster Police....you want Lancaster County Sheriff
