range question
does anyone know of any local (within 15 miles or so) of state college ranges? I'm looking for something that essentially is inexpensive. I'd like to shoot targets, along with random things that are cool to shoot like water bottles and such. Scotia, eh not a big fan, too many people at times. mainly pistol and some plinking. something like private land that is leased to shoot. nothing fancy.
thanks

Re: range question
Closest one would be Spring Mills Fish and Game, I think about $20 for an annual membership.

Re: range question
There's always Liberty Twp Sportsmens Club, a little more than 15 miles from SC, but well worth the trip. It's near Bald Eagle State Park on Marsh Creek Rd. $16/yr for membership, Not heavily used, Target holders at 50 and 100, gongs at 200, and you can shoot at anything you want except for glass, as long as you clean up after yourself.
