Default Anyone Own a Dan Wesson RZ-45 Heritage 1911? Comments?

Being a CZ fan, I saw this at a dealer, but was in the midst of purchasing another gun, so passed up the opportunity to check it out. I might have to (someday) go back and do so. It's (IMO) a beautiful gun, and knowing CZ's reputation, I'm thinking it should be a great pistol.

But, to those of you that own them or have checked them out: How does it compare to the others (particularly the Kimbers)? Trigger, sight picture (it has a tritium front sight), and tolerances/fit-finish?

    Thanks,
    Mark

CZ & Dan Wesson make the best 1911 for the money IMO. Love my Valor.. cannot say enough good things about their Pistols..

Thanks! This particular gentleman compares it favorably in terms of fit, finish and quality to a Wilson. Sounds good!

I have a Pointman 7, not the RZ-45 but I really like mine. IMHO it is one of the best 45s out there even if you are not considering price. The fit on mine is second to nothing else I own and the trigger was around 3.5 lbs right out of the box. It looks great and shoots as good as it looks. It made me start to take a look at CZ-75s as I was so impressed with the quality.
