Had a great time today at the CDP course. This was my first training involving any kind of force-on-force. Definitely a different experience to square range training. Nothing wrong with square range to get techniques down, of course, but FoF courses like this add a different dimension to training.

I only attended the Sunday portion of the course. When I am able I will be back for the Combative pistol section. George and Chas (of Zanshin Lair) make the day very interesting, switching up the drills and scenarios. Today gave me a bit of confidence in what I can do as well as a wakeup call about what I can't do, even under the minimal stress of a training encounter.
