Re: Lebanon Expo / Eagle Arms Productions
Maybe I should think about going to this show before Harrisburg. Have only so much money & time for myself.
FREE parking which pays for lunch.
Good food....great fries!
Easy to walk in, and only $5 w/coupon.
NO leftover cow smell.
Even though economy has taken it's toll on our wallets, and we're all being much more careful how we're spending money, this show seems to be getting more vendors and a pretty decent variety.
Looking to buy either a Diamondback or Kahr in 380 ACP.
Forgot.....Any opinions on either pistol, and what type of ammo?

I will be there on saturday and looking to see if there are any CZ P07 DUTYs and shot guns. I will also have a Mossberg 341 ans a Walther P99 along if anyone here is interested.

Re: Lebanon Expo / Eagle Arms Productions
I've shot a Kahr .380 - it has a very nice trigger and held respectable accuracy at "engagement" distances. Recoil was not offensive to me, which was a pleasant surprise given the size of the gun. I enjoyed shooting it, and when I finally get around to a .380, it will get serious consideration.
Diamondback - need you really say anymore? The Colt revolvers are great. One caution - if you regularly shoot S&W revolvers, the cylinder release latch on Colt revolvers is "backwards" to open. If you own no other Colts, or carry a S&W revolver, you may want to think about that. I think there were some at the recent VF show, but I think they were pricey.
As for ammo - "what's available?" is often the issue. For an auto like the Kahr, I would recommend "hardball" (FMJ) for the "break-in" period; any of the American Eagle, Winchester "white box" or similar should be fine for that purpose. Anymore, if I am considering a new gun, I call the manufacturer to ask their recommendation on ammo.

Re: Lebanon Expo / Eagle Arms Productions
Kimber 22....Thanks for the input.
Like the Kahr construction, and design. Since it's going to be a pocket pistol when wearing light clothing, size, smooth edges, snag free, sleek profile besides being utterly reliable are major buy points. Triggers can usually be improved if needed.
Sorry to be ambigous. The Diamondback I'm looking at looks like a "mini Glock" in 380 ACP that's also made in the USA.
Had chance to briefly check one out, but when I went back to the Dealer to finally choose between the Kahr vs. Diamonback it was sold.
Victim of my own words, "when you see what you like....buy it."
