Shipping Disassembled Parts
I'm planning on sending some loose parts out for refinishing. Specifically a trigger, slide catch, take down lever, safety and related pins/buttons. Is there any problem shipping Express USPS? As I understand it, as long as you can't build a gun from the loose parts you're OK.

Re: Shipping Disassembled Parts
Should not be a problem. With what you have a Priority Mail small box would work and is only $4.95 for anywhere in the US. It will get the parts to where you want in 2-3 days max.
You as a non-FFL just cannot ship a handgun through USPS. Anything else is just fine.Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: Shipping Disassembled Parts
Remember that the receiver, action, or frame is the gun. Everything else is a paperweight until assembled, but even as a loose part the receiver is a gun. It can be tricky on some guns as the "gun looking part" may not in fact be the restricted piece e.g. AR upper is a paperweight, bare lower is a firearm.
