Default Sig P226 Tac Ops 20 round magazine question

    http://www.cdnninvestments.com/sig229mm20fl.html

    Hi All,
New to the forum but been reading it for a couple of years and shooting since 7 or 8 years old. I recently picked up a new P226 Tac Ops (my first Sig!) and it's come time to clean the mags. The mags that come with it are 20 rounders...I believe they are 18 rd mags with an extension (see above link for image). They are Sig mags made in US not Mec Gar. Frankly I'm embarrassed to say that I cannot figure out how to break them down. They don't have the normal base plate release hole that all other magazines have (Glock/HK/Walther). I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me a hint. I just don't want to keep experimenting on how to crack these open considering what I paid for the gun. By the way I have absolutely violated the internet looking for instructions or clues on this to no avail.
    Cheers

Just got mine yesterday and took mags apart, if you didn't by now. I just put MT fingernail in the small rectangle and pull that out. Then slide the extension off. Be mindful of the spring.

Congrats to both of you on the new Tac Op's.

I had a Tac Op's & an HK P30 in front of me when I was looking for another 9mm. It was a tough choice, but I went with the HK. I already have 2 Sigs & wanted to try an HK.
