    The application asks about them and requires copies to be provided.

    You should have the nice young lady speak to the Wayne Co. Sheriff and explain to him that his staff is committing illegal acts by providing me with a laminated, reduced COPY as well as the original.

    IIRC, the very first question on the standardized state form for applying for LTCF asks if you hold any out of state permits. I vaguely recollect this for as long as I've had a LTCF (10 years = original plus two renewals). I just happened to notice it this year because I have my UT license.

    They ask you on the application, too. When I got the yellow card, it was handwritten on there as well.

    No, the new license has the crap on the back about not being able to carry at airports and federal areas. The old one issued by Pete Defazio did not.
