Default Where to find a Browning Auto Rifle.

I have a friend who is a huge WWII era fan and he recently asked me how to go about finding and then purchasing a BAR. I have exhausted my leads and am coming dry.

Does anyone know where I can point this guy, does he need like a C&R or FFL? I don't really know much about how to find one that actually works. Found a ton of replicas online though. Any help would be appreciated.

These guys have 3 about 15 pics down... You have to call for price so I'm sure they aren't cheap. Your friend will need to go through the atf form process for a tax stamp...

You are going to be looking at around 15k (give or take a couple) for an actual true blue BAR. Look on GUNBROKER and that will give you an idea about what is out there. Though...if he is looking for a real BAR...price prolly isn't an issue. Look online for class III brokers. They will hunt one down for your friend and help him through the BATF paperwork. Well, some of them will.

If that is just TOO rich. Ohio Ordinance makes the best Semi-Auto rifles for around $3,800 or so. They are gorgeous as well.

Come to Knob Creek on Oct 8,9,10. Rent one, shoot one or buy one! I will see a few there I'm sure, besides it is a great itime for any NFA lover.

They have come down in price a bit, a few years ago they were in the $20-28K range.
